With a career spanning more than 20 years in senior management roles Deanna Lane has specialised in providing strategic marketing, communications and business development support to major organisations and industry associations. Her professional services marketing has included consulting to Investment & Financial Services Association, KPMG, Reuters, Citibank, Australian Stock Exchange, Time Warner and Australian Pacific Projects.

In the field of professional education , Deanna's clients include Australian Institute of Company Directors, Institute of Actuaries Australia, University of Sydney, Australian Institute of Management, Royal Australasian College of Physicians. 

As one of the pioneers of law firm marketing , Deanna worked for a number of years both in-house and as a consultant to top tier law firms in Australia and Singapore and her luxury brand marketing included working with Chanel, Vogue and Park Hyatt Sydney.

Recognised for her ability to produce persuasive strategic communications Deanna has been engaged by CEOs to develop internal and external communications plans, write keynote speeches, coach Senior Executives on the delivery of speeches, presentations and staff announcements; produce targeted client communications, newsletters, web content and business plans.

Her strong background in business development and marketing gives her the ability to ensure that key internal and external messages are aligned with the business plans and objectives and importantly, that they reflect the culture and values of the organisation.

Her community work includes a Youth Leadership Project for schools and as Sydney Development Board Member of The Hunger Project. She has been on several fundraising committees including Bell Shakespeare, Australian String Quartet, Bangarra Dance Theatre, Sydney Children’s Hospital – Randwick, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

Deanna lectures on business development, marketing and business communication, has published articles and loose-leaf texts on media strategy & protocols, has authored several crisis management plans for clients and her book “Getting into the fastlane… how to accelerate in business” contains practical tips and techniques based on her consulting, coaching and workshops delivered to organisations over the past 15 years.
